I’m happy to announce I’ll be posting YouTube videos on Friday’s twice a month. I’ll play covers and original songs live in a stripped back, acoustic way!
The exciting and scary thing about it is that I’ll be recording, filming and editing these videos myself. With a little Zoom H2N microphone and two phones (Pocophone F1, Samsung A3). I’ve been enjoying learning to get better at sound and filmmaking.
I love the first song by Damien Rice and how the video turned out. There’s no denying that if it weren't for Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and Emmett Tinley I might have not have moved to Ireland. They are what fascinated me about Irish music. That raw emotion, something so real it’s almost painful. I hope I get to share music like that on my YouTube page.
