I can’t believe my EP ‘Onward Still’ is out! It’s received some generous radio play over the past few months. Thanks so much to RTE Radio 1 (John Creedon, Fiachna Ó Braonáin, Ruth Smith, Mathieu Norry, Cathal Murray), Radio Nova (Gavin Glass), Radio Na Life (Caoimhe Ní Riagáin), Galway Bay FM, Dublin City FM, Beat 102 103, 8 Radio, The Acoustic Yard Radio Show, Dublin South FM for the support! Especially ‘Onward Still’ has received lots of radioplay which is just lovely!
Recently I got to play at Whelan’s ‘Ones To Watch’ and I got to open for Nicki Bluhm. I also got to play at Temple Bar Tradfest sharing the stage with Frances Black, Eleanor McEvoy, Aoife Scott, Niamh Dunne (Beoga) and Caoimhe Hogarty. It was an amazing group of female musicians to be part of.
Me and Alice also did a headline slot last Saturday in The Cobblestone with Gillian Tuite. We had a full house and I couldn’t have been happier playing to such a responsive audience.
I also got a very kind review from Hotpress for the EP ‘Onward Still’:
‘An alluring listen full of heart and soul.’ … ‘a remarkable voice’
That’s just amazing! Ah!
I’m currently working on my next single so not gigging as much but I will be supporting The Unthanks on their Irish tour in Dundalk, Dublin, Belfast and Bellaghy. And I have a few festival dates planned too.
Thanks again to everyone who listened to my EP and gave it such a kind reception! The people that buy the music and come to gigs make it all possible! Thank you!
